House rules
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated · July 18, 2026
Domainry is a curated marketplace. To keep it that way we enforce these rules alongside the Terms of Service. Break them and we may take down listings, cancel bids, withhold payouts, or suspend accounts.
1. Listings
- Only list domains you own or are authorised to transfer.
- No trademark infringement, typosquatting on protected marks, or bad-faith cybersquatting.
- No domains associated with malware, phishing, CSAM, terrorism, illegal drugs, weapons, or human trafficking.
- No misleading titles, fake valuations, or fabricated traffic claims. Humbleworth and SEO figures shown on the site are estimates and must be presented as such.
- Category, keyword, and description fields must accurately reflect the domain.
2. Auctions & bidding
- No shill bidding, ring bidding, or bidding from accounts you control on your own auctions.
- No manipulation of reserve, extension, or ending-soon logic.
- Winning bids are binding. Repeated non-payment leads to suspension.
3. Rentals & advertise-my-domain
- Advertised monthly rentals must be honoured for the term stated at checkout.
- You must be able to point the domain to the renter’s DNS within 3 business days.
4. Payments & promotions
- No chargeback abuse. Contact us first — see Refunds & Disputes.
- No stacking identical active promotions on the same listing.
- Boost and homepage promotions do not guarantee a sale.
5. Content & messaging
- No harassment, hate speech, spam, or unsolicited marketing via the messages, offers, or inquiry system.
- No sharing of personal data of other users.
6. Technical abuse
- No scraping, mass-downloading, or unauthorised access to admin, API, or database resources.
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, Turnstile challenges, or CSRF protections.
- Report vulnerabilities to security@domainry.app; do not test in production against other users’ data.
7. Reporting & enforcement
Report listings or users that violate this policy to abuse@domainry.app. Enforcement actions include warnings, listing removal, bid cancellation, fee forfeiture, withheld payouts, account suspension, and permanent bans. We keep an admin audit log of enforcement actions.
